Sometimes I do fanciful, whimsical posts because I wish that life had more fanciful notions and whimsical thoughts intwined in to its everyday. See here.
You know how when you say some words over and over their meaning begins to fade, and the word starts to sound insignificant and silly and soon you're not even sure if you're pronouncing it right or using it in the right way? 'Love' is the complete opposite of that. The more you say it the more reverent and meaningful it becomes. The word love transcends vocabulary and encapsulates a whole plethora of feelings. It's butterflies and flushed cheeks and goosebumps and shaking all in one syllable. It's one of those words that looks beautiful written down, something about the curve of the letters reflects all the romantic notions the word has perfectly. Yet it can also look as if it's too big for the page, like it's becoming loose from itself and trying to burst and fly off in different tangents. Millions of people say 'love' every day, in a million situations, in a multitude of languages, in masses of countries, yet people are all feeling the exact same when they say it. So this post is about love.
