This is the second time I've watched The Virgin Suicides in two days and I hold Band of Outsiders Spring lookbook entirely responsible. The lookbook features Kirsten Dunst in a series of polaroid snaps that have the same dreamy and eerie atmosphere of Coppola's film. Band of Outsiders is probably one of my favourite brands, last Fall their lookbook starred Andrew Garfield in a 70s throwback shoot that's just absolutely gorgeous. Their clothes have a preppy turned edgy and mysterious vibe that Sternberg always captures really well through photography. The exposure to all this etherealness and earthiness may explain why I've been listening to so much James Blake, Goldfrapp and Twilight concertos today. Hello subconscious.
