Decided to change the format of my weekly musical post. So here's a twenty-four track round-up of some of the hottest musical alumni of 2011 whose careers are set to explode in 2012. I'm really loving The Maccabees' latest album, expect a review later on in the week, and as always anything by Azealia Banks is automatically catching my attention. My next festival get up is definitely going to involve shorts, plaits and a Disney sweatshirt. There's also a bit of Kanye West, Joe Goddard and Lana del Rey thrown in to counteract the infamous January Blues. No Blue Monday here. This is music that is best accompanied by a fresh mojito and a scenic sunset - but it's pretty enjoyable with the frosty chill in the air and a hot chocolate in hand too.
