feeling the grass underneath your feet
and underneath the rest of you too.
over indulging in food
and love.
grilling - food, and the one you love.
singing loud and proud along to your favourite bands
and maybe making a little music of your own.
or if you're not musically inclined, then the day's for making daisy chains (wearing them around your head is optional)
days like today are made for embracing your inner child....

whether that means getting lost alone
or making new friends.

and treasuring every moment.
Days like today make me feel so lucky. I haven't even done anything, other than sit in the garden, listening to music and getting lost in a book. But sometime's it's just the simple beauty of it all that makes you realise everything's going to be ok. Even if it isn't at the moment.
